so, clearly i’m an Upcoming fanatic…

When I search for an event on Upcoming, I love that when no matches are found Upcoming prompts me to “add a new event.” When people accept that suggestion, it would make sense to initially populate the Event Name field with the search term(s) (people probably search on some part of what they expect to be the Event Name).

Upcoming should provide functionality for spin-off events

In the context of Upcoming, “Watching” indicates I’m thinking of attending the event. Upcoming could provide a linked event for those planning to watch the broadcast of a live event.

Listing myself as “Watching” confuses friends that I might be in attendance at the live event (e.g. a football game).
